The Nissan Sunny GTI-R (sold in Japan as the Pulsar GTI-R) was produced between 1990 and 1994 as an homologation variant according to WRC Group A rules.
It used the 2-liter turbocharged SR20DET engine (exclusive version 54C), producing 227 horsepower and 280 N⋅m of torque, coupled to an «ATTESA» four-wheel drive system.
The body is basically the same as the model Sunny N14 of three, but it is distinguished by the large rear wing and the hood with large air intake for refrigazion of the intercooler.
With a weight / power ratio of 5.5 kg / hp, the GTI-R is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 232 km / h.
